DIGITAL ENGINEEERING TRANSFORMATION ENABLER
In an era of dynamic change in space, Aerospace is addressing a generation of complex challenges. We operate the only federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) committed exclusively to the space enterprise. Our technical experts span every discipline of space-related science and engineering. Join our team and thrive in a career that matters to the world and you personally.
Digital Engineering (DE) is one of the big challenge problems facing the US Space Force. The Space System Architect’s System-of-Systems Engineering (SOSE) program office has taken on the hard problem: developing effective digital engineering principles and apply them across the enterprise and acquisition lifecycle. The SOSE program office Project Engineer or Project Lead will build, lead and plan the work with Engineering and Technology Group (ETG) teams to achieve the vision of a fully digital engineered Space Force. This vision spans the gamut from model-based systems engineering, building libraries of workflows, identifying the Authoritative Source of Truth (ASOT) data and metadata that rides along with a system across the product/acquisition lifecycle to streamline the systems engineering artifacts and products that drive decision making. This is a cross-cutting opportunity to significantly influence how the Space Systems Center and USSF conduct and perform the business of space systems acquisition!
