POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling the project schedule for utility-scale solar projects. This role is key to ensuring alignment across self-perform teams, subcontractors, and procurement activities to support successful project delivery.
This individual will take a proactive, team-oriented approach to coordination, helping drive collaboration across all stakeholders to meet critical milestone dates and support overall project success.
This is a field-based role. The Project Scheduler will be expected to work full-time on the jobsite alongside the project management team, using the site as their primary base of operations to support real-time coordination and execution.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the project schedule using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual milestones

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and self-perform teams to incorporate detailed schedules into the master schedule

  • Work closely with field superintendents (mechanical, fencing, and PV installation) to monitor progress and support schedule adherence

  • Track procurement activities and submittals to ensure alignment with schedule requirements, including long-lead items

  • Identify potential schedule risks and constraints, and support development of mitigation strategies

  • Facilitate schedule coordination discussions with project teams to maintain alignment and transparency

  • Provide regular schedule updates, progress tracking, and forecasts to project leadership

  • Support efficient sequencing of work to promote smooth construction flow

  • Actively engage with the on-site project team to ensure schedule is reflective of actual field conditions and progress

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience as a Project Scheduler within construction, preferably utility-scale solar or renewable energy projects

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)

  • Understanding of construction sequencing, procurement processes, and subcontractor coordination

  • Experience working with self-perform construction teams

  • Willingness and ability to be based full-time on an active construction site

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to analyze schedules and communicate impacts clearly
