Job Summary:

The Primavera P6 Scheduler will assist in scheduling all needs, materials, and personnel at the beginning of each project. P6 Scheduler is responsible for breaking down each project into digestible-sized deliverables and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules collaboratively with the project team using Primavera P6.
  • Participate in all phases of the construction planning and scheduling process, including creating contracts, procurement, baseline, and tracking schedules.
  • Conduct regular project visits to review job status and apply construction sequencing knowledge to maintain project schedules accurately.
  • Identify and effectively communicate schedule challenges, risks, and conflicts to stakeholders and provide corrective suggestions and creative solutions.
  • Assist the project team in scheduling sequencing, methods of construction, project delays and impacts, alternate work plans, and recovery schedules.
  • Participate and provide feedback in project pre-planning, post-construction, and monthly project status review meetings.
  • Provide professional guidance and support to the project team to help develop project WBS structures, budgets, resource forecasts, risk registers, progress reports, and standardized reporting.
  • Review and analyze cost reports to ensure that costs incurred are consistent with resource plans and progress recorded.
  • Oversee change order submittal, negotiation, and approval processes.
  • Perform cost estimating when requested.
  • Earned Value Management by working with the project manager.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • In-depth and strong understanding of the critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Experience with earned value management (EVM) and schedule variance analysis
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Scheduler Experience Required

·       3+ years’ experience working with Primavera

·       Certification in Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)

·       Experience working on large-scale industrial EPC projects
