Codazen is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Irvine, CA.
Duties:
- Lead project management of multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Product planning, writing user stories, and leading story sizing (e.g., planning poker).
- Sprint planning, product backlog management, and grooming.
- Facilitating retrospectives, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
- Leverage your knowledge of current web/software technologies and business applications for competitive advantages.
- Requirements gathering, release and version control, contemporary testing, and deployment management.
- Drive the execution of project plans and teamwork assignments.
- Perform quality reviews and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately, ensuring issue resolution.
- Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project.
- Prepare relevant status reports.
- Coordinate communication with all areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Coordinate change requests from original specifications and ensure proper change communication and impact analysis.
- Drive project scheduling, resource allocation, forecasting, time entry, and project controls through standard project management tools to ensure proper budget allocation and capitalization.
- Maintain a high level of trust and confidence.
- Embrace and help grow Codazen’s vision of innovation and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Three years of project or product management experience for business application development projects.
- Position also requires knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology; familiarity with web technologies or languages (HTML, CSS, or SQL).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
