What's the role?

We are looking for a Project Manager that will be responsible for the effective management of new customer implementations and professional services. The Project Manager is focused on customer satisfaction and project success to help our in-house development team transform and adapt college and university websites for management in our web CMS.

  • Quickly become an expert user of CMS
  • Engage and consult with clients on all project-related matters and lead the customer experience to help clients achieve their goals
  • Responsible for high-level of prioritization and direction of team members, project schedules and scope of efforts
  • Conduct and lead meetings to deliver project progress reports and review the presentations of others as needed
  • Craft detailed technical specification documentation and direct others in the work defined in these specifications
  • Provide integrated change control via an established change request process
  • Provide comprehensive and on-going risk management
  • Work with management to determine resource needs and availability; negotiate with management to resolve outstanding project-related issues
  • Follow up with both the customers and internal stakeholders to ensure project plan is progressing as scheduled
  • Manage projects based on company workload and schedules appropriate coverage in assigning projects to department resources
  • Ensure delivery of the highest quality service by processing and understanding customer technical requirements, needs, and expectations in preparation for project
  • Track and document the status of projects until completed

What you offer...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • A minimum of 2-3 years project management experience with increasing responsibility
  • A minimum of 1 year in high technology or web software development sectors
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiar with current project management tools; Wrike, Atlassian Clarizen, or MyIntervals or Basecamp.
  • Advanced knowledge of full MS Office Suite
  • Professional, logical, and highly motivated approaches to work problems often on tight deadlines
  • Proficient in a multi-task environment; can type, email, and present via web conferencing tools (Zoom), utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, enthusiasm, and pride in the work you do
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and drive projects and business topics forward
  • Strong ability to lead, build and support the web development team by planning and scheduling all aspects of the implementation process
  • Basic knowledge of web-based technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, and JS
