Position Summary
The Project Manager will coordinate multiple projects in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast pace, hybrid project management environment supporting various business and technical departments as needed.
Essential Functions
- Creates Project plans, including deliverables, activities, timelines, and budgets
- Manages for Project scope, schedule, outside vendors, and contractual deliverables
- Manage change requests, ensuring proper impact analysis and stakeholder approval
- Facilitate proper retrospectives and implement lessons learned to improve future delivery processes.
- Oversees all aspects of a Project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget
- Manages 5-9 Projects of a high complexity and varying scope simultaneously
- Conducts Project meetings including defining agendas, moderating discussion, and publishing meeting minutes
- Tracks actions items, issues, and risks and follows up with team members to ensure timely completion
- Prepares and distributes Project status reports
- Works collaboratively with various departments to execute Projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology or related field
- At least 3 – 7 years of Project Management experience in software development environment
- Proven successes managing cross functional projects in a software development environment.
- Proven experience implementing of project management best practices including change management, risk management, stakeholder management, etc.
- Proven ability to manage and report on projects in a hybrid agile/waterfall environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong technical background with technical capability to learn and use enterprise systems
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills that foster a culture based on accountability
- Experience with Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, and Smartsheet preferred
- Agile certification and/or PMP certification preferred
