Description
About Us

Authorium is a leading platform designed to modernize the administrative operations of government. We are on a mission to maximize the effectiveness of government operations at all levels, bringing greater efficiency, compliance, and data insights to today’s government leaders. Join us if you're eager to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and help drive impactful changes.

The Role

We're looking for a Project Manager who thinks like a consultant, not a traditional process-driven PM. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage government agency implementations, serving as the primary point of contact and advocate for your customers throughout their journey with Authorium.

You'll be responsible for the entire implementation lifecycle — from initial kickoff through go-live and beyond. This isn't about following rigid timelines or creating elaborate project decks. It's about understanding what your customers need, adapting on the fly, and ensuring every implementation feels like a true partnership.

What You'll Do
  • Manage multiple active customer implementations from kickoff through successful go-live
  • Serve as the primary customer contact and advocate throughout the implementation process
  • Create purposeful meetings with clear agendas, defined outcomes, and the right stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including solution engineers, training, and product
  • Work closely with Product Success Leads (PSLs) to ensure delivery aligns with customer expectations and statement of work
  • Understand and use our product well enough to guide customers and identify when to bring in additional expertise
  • Adapt your approach based on customer needs, meeting dynamics, and project realities
  • Manage project timelines while prioritizing customer success over rigid process adherence
  • Report project health to your Director and maintain visibility across all implementations
  • Solve problems independently with minimal hand-holding, escalating when appropriate
The Work Environment

You'll be working directly with government agencies who are transforming their administrative workflows and processes. These implementations are complex, involving multiple stakeholders and established workflows that need to be carefully transitioned to our platform.

You'll split your time roughly 50/50 between customer-facing work and internal coordination. You'll work closely with our Product Success Leads who own the overall delivery quality and user experience standards.

You'll report to the Director of Customer Delivery and be part of a team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and partnership over rigid process adherence.

How We Hire

We care about how you approach customer relationships, problem-solving, and project coordination. We'll review your application and experience, then have conversations about real scenarios you'd encounter in this role.

Requirements
Who We're Looking For
  • You have 2+ years of project management experience delivering complex enterprise software to customers
  • You have a consultant mindset — you listen first, adapt quickly, and focus on customer outcomes
  • You're a self-starter who can take a problem and solve it without extensive guidance
  • You understand that meetings should have purpose — you create clear agendas, invite the right people, and respect everyone's time
  • You're customer-obsessed and naturally think about implementations from the customer's perspective
  • You can coordinate across teams and know when to bring in the right expertise at the right time
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and change — when project requirements shift, you adapt rather than panic
  • You can learn new products quickly and understand how implementations typically work
  • You communicate proactively and keep all stakeholders informed about project health
Benefits
  • Salary: $120,000-$140,000
  • 100% benefits coverage for employee
  • 401K Profit Share plan
  • Flexible PTO
  • Home office stipend

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
