Job Overview
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing large and/or complex programs and projects throughout AltaMed and its affiliated businesses. This may include, but is not limited to, the clinical sites with the aim of improving patient health outcomes and/or business results. The focus will be to design, plan, manage, and implement the highest priority strategic business initiatives with significant financial, process, information systems, and organizational impacts that span across multiple business lines and functions. Key attributes include the ability to effectively communicate and interact with senior business leaders and other project and program sponsors, quickly and comprehensively assess and address issues associated with supported initiatives, and the ability to identify and implement improvements within the overall project delivery process. The incumbent will be expected to support and utilize company Project Management Standards and Software Development Lifecycle best practices and to contribute to the department’s effort to institutionalize project management, program management, change management, and lean processes throughout the enterprise.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or technical discipline strongly preferred. Master’s degree in business, health care, or Information Technology discipline strongly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience required in project management with successful deployment demonstrating measurable positive results, including.
Minimum 3 years of experience in health care project management or process improvement, strong industry knowledge, and health information technology implementation experience are required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience end- end-to-end information systems installation, migration, and upgrade projects desired.
Project Management Certification strongly preferred.
Change Management and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certifications are strongly preferred.
Excellent English technical writing ability (requirements and documentation).
Compensation
$102,568.42 - $128,210.53 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer
Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization.
