Ardent is seeking a Project Manager to join our team.  

This is a remote position.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of advanced analytics and investigative support services within a federal environment. This role will serve as the primary technical and managerial point of contact between the project team, government stakeholders, and contracting representatives.

The Project Manager will oversee multiple concurrent analytics initiatives supporting fraud prevention, waste and abuse detection, program integrity, and investigative activities across large-scale federal benefit programs. This position will be responsible for managing project scope, schedules, costs, personnel, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communications while ensuring work is completed in accordance with established quality standards and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of advanced analytics and investigative support projects.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams supporting federal analytics and investigative initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary technical and managerial interface between the contractor team, Contracting Officer, and Contracting Officer’s Representative.
  • Coordinate project activities across data scientists, analysts, investigators, technical specialists, and other program personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, implementation plans, resource plans, and milestone tracking.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, deliverables, risks, and overall performance.
  • Identify, document, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support sprint planning, project kickoff meetings, recurring status meetings, and project closeout activities.
  • Ensure project teams provide quality deliverables and services in accordance with established requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external vendors to ensure teams work together effectively and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, briefings, financial reports, and performance updates.
  • Maintain open and timely communication with government stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and emerging issues.
  • Support quality control activities and ensure project work products are reviewed before delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate resolution of project conflicts or delivery challenges.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project documentation, procedures, and work products.
  • Ensure project personnel remain aligned with organizational priorities, government requirements, and contractual objectives.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Agile projects and delivering fraud analytics, advanced analytics, investigative support, or related technical solutions.
  • Experience supporting advanced analytics or investigative programs similar in size and scope to a large federal contract.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, workstreams, and technical teams.
  • Experience interacting with senior leaders, government customers, and organizational stakeholders.
  • Experience managing project costs, schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Experience supporting projects involving fraud detection, fraud prevention, strategic planning, multi-tasking, conflict management, and time management.
  • Experience overseeing analytics initiatives involving large-scale federal benefit programs or similarly complex environments.
  • Experience coordinating technical personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing project plans, status reports, financial reports, briefings, and other project documentation.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to respond to government personnel and project stakeholders within established timeframes.
  • Ability to successfully complete and maintain the required government background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting federal Offices of Inspectors General, law enforcement organizations, or program-integrity initiatives.
  • Experience managing projects involving fraud analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, graph analytics, or investigative analysis.
  • Experience supporting Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Experience managing analytics projects involving cloud-based platforms, enterprise data management, or data governance.
  • Familiarity with federal contracting, quality-control requirements, and government reporting processes.
  • Experience managing projects supporting disaster-relief, financial-assistance, or federal benefit programs.
