Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Project Manager VI to lead our Bus Terminals and Yards projects in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for bus terminal and yard construction and renovation projects
  • Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and city officials
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges
  • Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, financial forecasting, and budget management
  • Lead stakeholder communications and presentations to senior management, board members, and public officials
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation infrastructure
  • Implement best practices in sustainable design and construction for bus terminals and yards
  • Mentor and develop junior project management staff
  • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field plus 10 years of related experience or equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience as a Program Manager or Sr. Project Manager.
  • Experience with zero-emission vehicles or technology, including design and/or implementation of ZEB facilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale bus terminal and yard projects.
  • Experience working with San Francisco MTA.
  • Experience delivering $500M+ MTA projects, specifically bus terminals and yards.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
