Job Overview

The Project Manager, Strategy will partner with management and key leaders to identify requirements supporting strategic initiatives and special projects. This position is primarily responsible for effective planning, managing, and implementing highly visible projects that will improve enterprise infrastructure and promote service integration of AltaMed’s clinic services. Projects assigned are broad in scope with significant financial, process, information systems, and organizational impacts and may involve multiple departments across regions. This position will support the department’s effort to institutionalize project management skills and lean processes throughout AltaMed, including the clinical sites, to improve patient health outcomes and business results.

Minimum Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, health care, organizational management, or a related field is required

  • A master’s degree in business, healthcare, or a quantitative discipline will be given preference

  • Minimum 3 years of experience required in project management and data analysis with successful deployment demonstrating measurable positive results.

  • Experience in healthcare process improvement and health information technology implementation experience strongly preferred. 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience, process reengineering, organizational design, and/or change management experience preferred. 

  • Business consulting experience with a major firm is strongly preferred. 

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification and Certified Project Management Professional strongly preferred.

Compensation

$90,875.20 - $113,588.80 annually

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization.
