Job Description:

The Project Manager, Global Sales Development is a critical driver of operational excellence within Global Inside Sales (GIS), overseeing projects that enhance efficiency, optimize sales technologies, and foster cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering key initiatives that improve team performance and align with organizational goals.

Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining sales analytics reports, optimizing tools like Salesloft and Salesforce, and coordinating with IT, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless integration and adoption of sales technologies. Additionally, the Project Manager identifies process improvements, maintains data integrity, and supports Inside Sales leadership with actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Success in this role demands a proactive approach, strong project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting and Analytics
  • • Develop, maintain, and distribute regular reports and dashboards for Inside Sales Leadership to track KPIs such as pipeline health, team productivity, lead conversion, and campaign performance.
  • • Analyze GIS data to identify trends, uncover gaps, and provide actionable insights that support GIS leadership decision-making.
  • • Partner with the GIS Leadership team to deliver presentations and summaries that highlight key findings and recommendations.
  • • Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics needs for GIS leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Sales Technology Governance and Optimization
  • • Manage governance around Salesloft usage, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and guidelines for GIS.
  • • Monitor platform performance and user activity to identify opportunities for optimization, improved adoption, and enhanced productivity.
  • • Collaborate with IT and Sales Enablement to implement best practices for Salesloft, Salesforce, and other tools, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • • Troubleshoot issues related to the sales technology stack and coordinate with IT and external vendors for resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • • Work with Revenue and Marketing Operations to align reporting and analysis with overall organizational priorities and campaign strategies.
  • • Partner with Marketing to evaluate campaign performance, providing insights on lead flow, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • • Collaborate with IT to address system challenges, prioritize enhancements, and ensure seamless integration across tools.
  • • Support internal business partners by providing data-driven insights and recommendations that improve alignment and execution across teams.
  • Operational Oversight and Process Improvement
  • • Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy within sales systems.
  • • Maintain data integrity across the sales technology stack, ensuring accurate and reliable reporting.
  • • Monitor campaign execution to ensure alignment with GIS goals and objectives.
  • • Contribute to the development of documentation, training materials, and enablement content to support tool adoption and effective usage.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Advanced proficiency in developing and distributing reports using tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of sales and marketing processes, including pipeline management and campaign analysis.
  • Experience with governance and optimization of sales technology platforms, specifically Salesloft and Salesforce.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel is required.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales analytics, sales development, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, and data visualization tools; certifications in these platforms are a plus.
