About the Role

TeamFicient is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects from initiation through successful completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, deliverables, stakeholders, and risks while ensuring projects remain aligned with business objectives.

The successful candidate should be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working with cross-functional and remote teams. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
  • Plan, organize, and manage projects from initiation through completion.

  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.

  • Coordinate tasks and resources across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

  • Identify project dependencies, bottlenecks, and potential delays.

Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

  • Communicate project expectations, updates, priorities, and deadlines clearly.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.

  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder discussions.

  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners when required.

Risk & Performance Management
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues.

  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans when necessary.

  • Track project performance, budgets, resources, and key performance indicators.

  • Escalate critical issues and provide recommendations to management.

  • Ensure project documentation, processes, and reporting are maintained accurately.

Process Improvement
  • Establish and maintain project management best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, processes, and team efficiency.

  • Ensure projects follow established methodologies and organizational standards.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Candidate Qualifications
Must-Haves
  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management, program coordination, operations, or a related field.

  • Proven experience managing projects from planning through successful completion.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional or distributed/remote teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Good to Haves
  • PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certification.

  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.

  • Experience managing technology, software, IT, or digital transformation projects.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar collaboration platforms.

  • Experience managing international or multicultural teams.

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and project reporting.

  • Experience working in a fully remote or distributed organization.
