Please note, this is a contract role, performed remotely out of Los Angeles, CA.  Candidates need to be located in the greater LA region.


Job Summary: 

We’re seeking a highly organized and strategic Associate Project Manager to lead the execution of creative campaigns across brand defining, brand partnerships, and editorial initiative and more. This role is central to managing timelines, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring flawless delivery across all touchpoints, whether through brand partners, seasonal campaigns, or always-on editorial content.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Brand, Creative, Social, Production, and Marketing teams, acting as a linchpin for planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication. This role reports to the Creative Operations team leader.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead end-to-end project management for brand campaigns, editorial initiatives and brand partnerships
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, deliverables, asset tracking, and task management—for multiple concurrent campaigns
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional partners and stakeholders across Marketing Channels, Creative, Brand, and Production
  • Facilitate project briefings, creative reviews, approvals, and feedback loops, ensuring clarity and on-time delivery
  • Track asset readiness and launches across key channels (email, social, paid ads, web, etc.)
  • Support continuous process improvement by implementing documentation templates, standard operating procedures, and campaign best practices

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required: 

  • 4–6 years of experience in creative operations or project management, ideally within retail, content, or consumer goods, DTC or start-up environment
  • Proven ability to lead high-volume, multi-channel campaigns and effectively manage multiple stakeholders
  • Skilled at proactively resolving issues and negotiating solutions, with a focus on streamlining processes and optimizing workflows
  • Known for exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a high level of dependability; consistently takes full ownership to ensure timely, accurate execution
  • Solid understanding of wholesale retail marketing workflows and digital content production
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Asana, Airtable, Trello, Monday.com, or similar platforms. (Asana preferred) 

Preferred: 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced in-house creative or agency environment with multiple overlapping deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity for improving systems, tools, and workflows

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining momentum and clarity for cross-functional teams

  • A “no-task-too-small” mindset and willingness to roll up sleeves to support project execution at all levels

  • Ability to anticipate blockers and proactively clear the path for creative teams to stay focused and efficient

  • Familiarity with production timelines across channels (digital, social, print, paid media, etc.) is a big plus

Compensation:

  • $35-42/HR on a 1099
