Job Title: Project Manager – PayFac and Platforms
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across the payfac and platforms stack. This role will drive execution of strategic programs, including development and delivery of developer-facing content and expansion of platform services into new segments and verticals. The ideal candidate excels in coordinating across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver scalable, partner-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs spanning multiple services, stakeholders, and integration points
- Coordinate across product, engineering, design, and developer experience teams to ensure high-quality, consistent developer-facing outputs
- Manage expansion initiatives into new segments (e.g., SMB, enterprise platforms, vertical SaaS), including aligning requirements, timelines, and dependencies
- Establish and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies across workstreams
- Drive clarity and alignment on scope, priorities, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners
- Track progress against timelines and proactively identify and resolve blockers
- Ensure alignment between technical delivery and commercial objectives, including readiness for launches and partner onboarding
- Support large platform engagements by coordinating implementation activities and ensuring delivery against client expectations
- Implement scalable program management practices, including standardized reporting, governance, and communication cadence
Required Experience
- 7+ years of project or program management experience in payments or platform-based environments
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, product, and external partners
- Experience delivering API-based products and developer-facing content (documentation, integration guides, SDKs)
- Strong understanding of platform architectures and service-based delivery models
- Demonstrated experience managing projects that expand products into new customer segments or verticals
- Skilled in managing competing priorities, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations in a matrixed organization
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Experience supporting go-to-market readiness and launch coordination
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 50,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 177,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
