Essential Functions & Abilities
  • Provide executive-level leadership across multiple project teams, challenging and supporting all internal and external members
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, toughness, and deep trust across the full project portfolio
  • Actively mentor and develop project managers and project engineers, building the next generation of leaders
  • Maintain executive-level understanding of all project scopes, building processes, and systems
  • Oversee and guide risk management functions across projects, including contract strategy, subcontract review, and insurance programs
  • Provide executive oversight of cost control functions across the portfolio, including change management, billings, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Review and approve monthly progress reports and executive summaries for ownership and leadership
  • Partner with superintendents and project managers to ensure construction schedules are current and proactively communicated to owners and stakeholders
  • Set organizational priorities and delegate critical items effectively across project teams
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects and for building enduring client relationships that drive repeat business and growth

Knowledge and Skills
  • Risk Management — Executive-level expertise in contracts, insurance, risk allocation, and project-wide deliverable management
  • Cost Control — Portfolio-level ownership of estimating, budgeting, forecasting, change management, and billings across multiple projects
  • Building Fundamentals — Deep experience in commercial construction means and methods; strong plan reading and execution of complex project controls
  • Safety — Demonstrated executive leadership in safety culture; able to identify hazards, implement solutions, and drive a company-wide commitment to jobsite safety
  • Business Development — Experience cultivating client relationships, supporting pursuits, and contributing to the growth of the company's project pipeline

Education / Experience Required
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years in a project manager or senior project manager role
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large, complex commercial projects
  • Experience in Health Care (OSHPD), Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Office Improvements strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Project
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills — a proven relationship-builder with clients, internal teams, and trade contractors

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
