Project Engineer II - Turbomachinery

As a Project Engineer II  here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be part of shaping and driving the turbomachinery engineering strategy across our organization. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing and implementing best practices for turbomachinery design and analysis. Providing expert technical guidance to cross-functional teams, you will lead advanced engineering analysis, testing, and modeling to optimize product performance and reliability. Your role encompasses the identification and mitigation of potential design risks throughout the product lifecycle.  

Collaboration with stakeholders to define and establish projects goals and metrics will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. You will work out of our Torrance, CA location on a Hybrid work schedule.  No Relocation offered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers to develop and implement turbomachinery design and analysis strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and establish design goals and metrics
• Provide expert technical guidance on turbomachinery design and analysis principles
• Conduct advanced engineering analysis, testing, and modeling to optimize product performance and reliability
• Identify and mitigate potential design risks throughout the product lifecycle
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to bring innovation to turbomachinery engineering initiatives

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in turbomachinery design and analysis.
• Experience with engineering analysis methods.

The annual base salary range for this position is $10100 -  $126000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
