Job Description:

What will you work on? 
As a Project Designer, you work on several projects simultaneously, bringing them from initial concepts to final production. This role primarily supports the Primal Hatch brand.

How will you create impact? 

  • Participate in product brainstorming and new concept ideation
  • Research and interpret current market and consumer trends
  • Participate in concept development for existing brands and new areas of expansion
  • Creation of 2-D renderings and specifications, and oversee 3-D model making for developing product through to production.
  • Participate in assessment of design concept feasibility (e.g. cost, schedule, manufacturability & safety)
  • Liaise closely with Marketing, Quality Assurance, Visual Branding and Product Development teams during the product’s life cycle
  • Create compelling presentations and pitch to the executive level of the organization
  • Participate in product strategy development and the creation of innovative slots and rationale for existing brands

  • CAD Evaluation & Redlines
  • Design Software – 2D required, 3D a plus
  • Specification & Documenting
  • Product Life Cycle
  • Visual Communication
  • Presentation Skills Proficiency
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic and interactive toy design and development.
  • Animatronic knowledge or experience is a plus!

This position requires an onsite presence four days per week.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in California is $45 to $50 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master ltd. is a multi-provincial employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other provinces.
