Northland Controls is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support the Project Management Office (PMO) in delivering global physical security system projects. You’ll coordinate schedules, manage documentation, communicate with clients, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and values collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment documentation and information.

  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.

  • Ensuring clients’ needs are met as project evolves.

  • Assists in preparing action plans using resources from time and budget projects.

  • Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget and with high quality standards.

  • Assist in monitoring the project progress and respond to issues as they arise.

  • Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.

  • Work with project and program managers to eliminate project blockers.

  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenses/expenditures.

  • Create and maintain project documentation, plans and reports.

  • Ensure standards and requirement are met through conducting quality assurance tests.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

SKILLS

  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, scheduled, and step by step action plans.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Planner, Project).

  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Effective organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Two years of proven work experience as a Project Administrator or similar administrative support role.

Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
