Education
Bachelor's Degree (or bachelor's equivalency) in Business Administration, Engineering or related field, or combination of equivalent education and work experience.
Experience/Special Knowledge/Skills
Three (3) years preferred - diversified engineering experience or equivalent as deemed by the Director of Program Management.
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and technical presentations.
Ability to plan and independently prioritize work.
Demonstrated successful performance with independent problem solving and quantitative analysis skills,
Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.
Must be able to apply academic principles and utilize math-based tools.
Demonstrated successful performance with word processing, presentation, database applications and spreadsheet software to track data and perform calculations.
Minimum 1- year / 2 years preferred, directly related experience to include exposure to engineering design process, material and/or part inventory tracking, developing timelines, tracking costs, monitoring budgets and managing databases.
Must be able to read drawings. Competency in CAD and GD&T.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads and coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, resolution of design, build and test issues, and completion of the assigned project.
- Ensures proper coordination and communication of the team on the assigned project.
- Consults and collaborates with personnel in various activities relative to project requirements. Conducts effective communications within the project team and the customer, supplier, manufacturing and quality communities with guidance from program management personnel. Maintains all appropriate documentation.
- Monitors and analyzes established project plan. Confirms resources and labor are available, budget is consistent with and on track for the project requirements, and the team is on track to meeting commitments. Identifies and communicates impediments to the successful completion of project milestones as established in the plan to appropriate personnel.
- Utilizes and follows the product delivery process to coordinate all activities concerned with the completion of the project up to and including the launch of the assigned project.
- Attends meetings (e.g. phase and gate reviews, PDTs) with internal and external customers. Represents the project team, reviews documentation and drawings and provides technical guidance as appropriate. Conveys customer requirements and issues to the team and ensures appropriate resolution is provided to the customer within established timeframes.
- Capable of fulfilling the duties of a Program Manager on a periodic or as needed basis with limited management oversite.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Supports Internal / External Audit efforts regarding ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 Certification for remote site location (Group Office).
- Supports the requirements as detailed in Standard Operating Procedure 8000 (Quality Management system).
- Ensure employees work in the manner consistent with the organizations established objectives and targets utilizing protective equipment, devices, measures, and procedures as promulgated by state and federal regulations. Establish clear goals for workplace health and safety. Complete safety talks, safety meetings, and required training occur, as defined.
