About the Role

As a Program Manager, you will play a central role in driving execution of Demandbase’s highest-priority strategic initiatives, including AI-first product and go-to-market transformation. Reporting into the Business Operations & Strategy team within the Office of the CFO, you will own end-to-end program execution—from planning and alignment through delivery, reporting, and impact measurement.

This role requires strong program management discipline, analytical rigor, and the ability to coordinate across Product, GTM, and Finance teams. You will ensure strategic initiatives are delivered on time, risks are actively managed, and leadership has clear visibility into progress and business impact.

Responsibilities

Strategic Program Management & Execution

  • Own day-to-day program management for company-level strategic initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery.

  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans covering workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, and timelines.

  • Identify execution risks, resource gaps, and cross-functional dependencies; drive mitigation plans and escalate as needed.

  • Establish and run structured operating rhythms, including weekly program reviews and executive check-ins.

  • Ensure decisions, action items, and commitments are clearly documented and tracked to closure.

OKR Management & Accountability

  • Own end-to-end OKR management for strategic initiatives.

  • Align cross-functional teams on objectives, success metrics, timelines, and ownership.

  • Track progress against OKRs, surface blockers, and enforce accountability across teams.

  • Ensure consistency between strategic priorities, execution plans, and reported outcomes.

Reporting, Insights & Analysis

  • Define and maintain KPIs to measure execution progress and business impact.

  • Build and manage program dashboards and status reporting for executives and stakeholders.

  • Partner with Finance on ROI analysis, financial modeling, and benefits realization tracking.

  • Translate data and execution outcomes into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.

Executive Communication & Governance

  • Prepare materials for CFO and Executive Leadership Team updates, including progress summaries, risk assessments, and impact reporting.

  • Support quarterly business reviews and board-level presentations with concise, data-driven narratives.

  • Ensure leadership has a consistent, accurate view of initiative health and tradeoffs.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate execution across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Finance.

  • Act as the central point of alignment to ensure clarity on deliverables, timelines, and ownership.

  • Drive cross-functional problem-solving to keep initiatives on track.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Consulting, or Program Management, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with structure, rigor, and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience working with KPIs, dashboards, and business metrics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics for executive audiences.

  • High degree of ownership, organization, and attention to detail; able to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.

  • Experience partnering closely with Finance, Product, and/or GTM teams preferred.

  • Working knowledge of tools such as Google Workspace, Salesforce (SFDC), Asana, Smartsheet, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits

Our benefits include options for up to 100% paid Medical and Vision premiums for employees, a flexible PTO policy, paid holidays, and access to mental health and wellness resources. We also provide a 401(k) with pre-tax, after tax, and roth options, as well as short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, and other great benefits.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
