Position Overview:

We are seeking a Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The Principal PM is a lead position on the professional services team for individuals who demonstrate a strong combination of dynamic leadership, business acumen, and project management skills in support of successful project delivery with a particular emphasis on establishing executive level trust and credibility with our clients.

 By effectively managing these responsibilities, the Principal PM ensures the successful deployment of SaaS solutions, leading to high customer satisfaction and business growth.

This role will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of projects including planning, organizing, leading, as well as risk and quality control of project activities while providing support to other team members to do the same.

Project Leadership  

  • Lead complex, multi-team SaaS software programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and in-scope execution.
  • Monitor scope, schedule and budget of the assigned implementation projects to ensure the project teams are tracking on time and budget for project deliveries.
  • Establish and foster governance structure within project implementation lifecycle. 
  • Proactively identify and evaluate the risks associated with implementation activities and take appropriate action to control/mitigate the risks. 
  • Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, risk registers, and communication strategies to keep teams aligned and leadership informed.
  • Provide immediate visibility into project risks and escalate internally and with customer’s executive sponsorship as appropriate. 
  • Ensure the quality of the implementation meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations and leads to client satisfaction and referenceable clients
  • Facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and escalate risks proactively.
  • Proactively share insight with other departments gained from project experience.
  •  Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and driving best practices in SaaS program delivery.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability across distributed teams.

Communication

·       Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the SaaS solution.

    • Act as an executive sponsor for key accounts, building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
    • Ensure timely and effective resolution of client issues and escalations. 
  • Communication Strategy: Implement communication strategy with the intent to
    • Build strong relationships and secure sr. stakeholder’s support
    • Achieve successful project implementation and customer satisfaction
    • Achieve internal alignment across sales, solutioning, customer success, engineering, project team, and professional services.

·       Internal Communication: Facilitate clear and consistent communication among internal teams, ensuring everyone is aligned on program objectives and progress.

·       Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management and other stakeholders on program status, including successes, challenges, and next steps.

·       Model attributes of a leader when interacting with all internal team members and clients. 

 Strategic Planning and Operations

  • Define Program Objectives: Help set the overall goals and objectives for SaaS implementation programs, aligning them with business strategies and customer needs.
  • Develop Implementation Roadmaps: Support the creation of detailed implementation roadmaps and timelines, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource availability.
  • Help develop the PMO business model and establish the mechanisms for self-sustaining growth.
Requirements

Qualifications:

·       12+ years in project management, with 5+ years in leadership roles, ideally in SaaS implementation environments.

·       Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects from concept to delivery.

·       Expertise in Agile methodologies, with a strong understanding of SaaS delivery models and product development lifecycles.

·       Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.).

·       Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and familiarity with DevOps practices.

·       Understanding of software security, privacy regulations (GDPR, SOC 2), and SaaS-specific challenges.

·       Strong stakeholder management, including C-level executives and cross-functional teams with an ability to keep projects running efficiently and manage scope creep.

·       Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.

·       Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with diverse teams.

·       Skilled in risk management, decision-making, and driving project success in fast-paced environments.

·       Ability to navigate competing priorities and deliver solutions under pressure.

·       Solid understanding of SaaS business models and customer lifecycle (onboarding, support, etc.).

·       Familiar with integrating customer feedback into product development and delivery.

·       Knowledge of emerging SaaS technologies, AI integrations, and market trends.

·       Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business).

·       PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification highly preferred.

·       Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Experience: Knowledge of TPRM frameworks and best practices also a plus

**This role will require travel up to 20% sometimes on short notice depending on client needs.**
