Job Overview:
The Project Management team at Cambium Assessment, Inc. works closely with internal teams and the state client to make sure all deliverables related to statewide computer-based statewide assessment programs are performed according to the contract. As part of the Project team, the Program Manager will work collaboratively with the team on specific short- and long-term projects, ensuring project deliverables are met in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
Identifies risks to scope, schedule, and budget, escalating and monitoring resolution of risks.
Monitors scope and budget, clarifying new tasks and escalating appropriately to ensure work stays within budget.
Manages client expectations effectively and ensures all client requests are resolved in a thorough and timely manner.
Works with project coordinator and senior program manager to ensure project deliverables are communicated, tracked, and completed on time.
Maintains master project schedules using project management software.
Coordinates software user acceptance testing and software specification verifications; tracks feedback from client and responses/resolution from internal functional teams.
Update ancillary documentation and support materials for customers such as software user guides, administration manuals, and brochures.
Manages onsite educator trainings on systems and processes.
Liaises with the Help Desk agents to coordinate responses to both routine and complex Help Desk cases.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred
2+ years relevant experience in a Program Management or related role.
CAPM or PMP certification highly preferred
Experience working in large-scale assessment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proven problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Acute attention to detail and exceptional work ethic
Experience working in Smartsheet and Excel preferred
Required Travel for this position is up to 3 weeks per year, typically being one week at a time, and 2 weeks being in the summer.
