The Role

We are seeking a strategic and creative Thought Leadership Program Manager to drive the execution of our Thought Leadership Program and position BeyondTrust as a leading voice in Identity Security. You will be responsible for developing and managing a compelling thought leadership strategy that aligns with our growth and go-to-market strategies, publishing impactful content, and engaging customers through various marketing, media, and sales channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of the Thought Leadership program, ensuring alignment with overall go-to-market and brand strategies.
  • Maintain and prioritize a backlog of relevant topics and themes that support BeyondTrust’s strategic objectives in Identity Security and broader cybersecurity trends.
  • Manage the process of placing contributed articles, blogs, and other long-form content in relevant industry publications.
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts, executives, and spokespeople to source content ideas and subject matter expertise.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure TL assets are easily accessible and leveraged across various channels (e.g., social media, podcasts, customer events).
  • Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness and impact of published content and campaigns.
  • Develop timelines, manage project plans, and ensure on-time delivery of content pieces, ensuring quality over quantity for maximum engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for internal and external collaboration to expand the program’s reach, including partnerships with industry influencers or other thought leaders

Strategy & Program Development

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Develop timelines, manage project plans, and ensure on-time delivery of content pieces, ensuring quality over quantity for maximum engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure TL assets are easily accessible and leveraged across various channels (e.g., social media, podcasts, customer events).
  • Identify opportunities for internal and external collaboration to expand the program’s reach, including partnerships with industry influencers or other thought leaders

Measurement & Optimization

  • Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness and impact of published content and campaigns.
  • Continuously refine the strategy based on data insights, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Report program success to stakeholders and leadership teams.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in program/project management or similar roles (e.g., marketing program manager, communications lead).
  • Proven track record of collaborating successfully with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product, execs).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to transform complex or technical topics into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, including the skill to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with KPI measurement tools and reporting (e.g., analytics platforms, project management software, and content management systems).

Nice To Have

  • Experience or strong interest in cybersecurity, identity security, or technology-related field (a huge plus).
  • Familiarity with media relations and placing contributed articles in high-profile industry publications (a huge plus).
  • Experience working with analysts, PR agencies, and media teams to amplify brand presence.
  • Strong expertise in thought leadership, executive positioning, and industry influence building.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, social media marketing, and digital content distribution.
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Wrike) and content management platforms.
  • An understanding of brand positioning and how to craft content that supports both marketing awareness and sales enablement.
