The Analytics Program Manager will work with customers to integrate Doxel's AI data with project data, building automated dashboards and reporting solutions for construction projects.
The summary above was generated by AI
Construction is the 2nd largest industry in the world (4x the size of SaaS!). But unlike software (with observability platforms such as AppDynamics and Datadog), construction teams lack automated feedback loops to help projects stay on schedule and on budget.  Without this observability, construction wastes a whopping $3T per year because glitches aren’t detected fast enough to recover.

Doxel AI exists to bring computer vision to construction, so the industry can deliver what society needs to thrive. From hospitals to data centers, from foreman to VPs of construction, teams use Doxel to make better decisions everyday. In fact, Doxel has contributed to the construction of the facilities that provide many of the products and services you use everyday.

We have classic computer vision, deep learning ML object detection, a low-latency 3D three.js web app, a complex data pipeline powering it all in the background. We’re building out new workflows, analytics dashboards, and forecasting engines.

We’re at an exciting stage of scale as we build upon our growing market momentum. Our software is trusted by Shell Oil, Genentech, HCA healthcare, Kaiser, Turner, Layton and several others. Join us in bringing AI to construction!

The Role
We are seeking an Analytics Program Manager to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will embed with our customers — leading general contractors and owner’s reps — to integrate Doxel’s AI-captured progress data with customer project data. You will build reporting engines and automate executive-ready dashboards and reporting that drive transparency and decision-making for the most complex construction projects in the world.

You will combine deep field experience with strong data engineering skills to design and deploy solutions that scale across jobsites. You’ll travel to customer offices and trailers, collaborate closely with project teams, and deliver value from day one.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with customer teams to understand reporting and analytics needs
  • Combine Doxel data with customer data (schedule, cost, WBS, commissioning trackers) to create integrated, automated reporting solutions
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting engines in Power BI, Tableau, or Google Slides/Docs
  • Create technical proposals for internal and external customers
  • Develop data pipelines using SQL, Python, or Javascript to automate data flow and reduce manual effort
  • Present polished, executive-ready reporting and/or dashboards to construction and owner leadership
  • Standardize and scale successful deployments across multiple customer projects
  • Create internal proposals for procurement of additional technology tools or infrastructure required to successfully deliver customer solutions

What You Bring to the Team

  • 2+ years of experience in construction management, project controls, construction tech implementation, or consulting
  • You lead from the front with a fanatical focus on delivering customer value
  • Strong history creating automated executive presentations from concept to production ready
  • Deep understanding of large commercial construction workflows, schedules (P6), and earned value analysis, etc
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, or Javascript, and data wrangling
  • Strong demonstrated experience with Google Apps Script
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and reporting automation
  • Comfortable working with APIs and integrating disparate data sources
  • Strong client-facing skills; experience collaborating with senior construction executives
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred

  • Experience in data center, healthcare, or industrial construction projects
  • Previous professional services or consulting experience
  • Familiarity with construction management systems (Procore, Aconex, Autodesk Build)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
