BAE Systems' Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Business Area has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Program Manager in the Adaptive Communications and Sensing (AC&S) Product Line. This Program Management opportunity will be responsible for the execution of production and manufacturing contracts within the Tactical Data Links family of programs. Candidates for this role should have a demonstrated history in transitioning products from development to production and full rate production.The candidate must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, and all Program Office functional leadership to assure deliveries continue to exceed customer commitments and achievement of financial commitments to the company.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
  • Provide leadership and management oversight, assuring the team's Program Area and Product Line objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Responsible and accountable to the Program Area and Product Line Management for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes timely decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash.
  • Accountable for all aspects of assigned program's execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, risk management, and customer engagement) throughout all the Life Cycle Management (LCM) phases, ensuring program commitments are met while having the authority to make cogent and timely decisions related to the project.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact between BAE Systems and the customer program office, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders.
  • Improves our work environment by promoting teamwork, wellness, workplace flexibility, modeling good behaviors, and increasing leadership engagement.
  • Participates in the support of new business and in the development of proposals.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Successful, proven past performance in leading and managing multi-discipline project teams.
  • Expertise in project management, earned value management, risk management, and supply chain & subcontract management.
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills.
  • Experience in the development and production of high reliability electronics.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years of experience.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification,
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Management, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with Manufacturing and Operations.
  • Experience in business case development, analysis, and presentation.
  • Detailed knowledge of the defense aerospace market and experience working with US Navy program offices, or other Armed Services Program offices.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
