Job Description SummaryIn this role, you will lead HR-related activities tied to acquisitions and divestitures including, due diligence, negotiation of HR terms and conditions and integration/ de-integration strategy. You will recommend HR process and strategy to support internal and external business objectives related to transitions. As required for acquisitions, this role will partner with the SHRM. COEs and Integration Leader of the deal to ensure the successful integration and assimilation of the acquired business into GEV. You will take ownership for the optimization and implementation of all HR processes while maintaining an effective work environment for the employees.Job Description#LI-Remote - This is a remote position
Roles and Responsibilities
Acquisition HR Leadership
- Partner with HR and management on all M&A matters (including due diligence, negotiation of HR terms and conditions and integration/ de-integration strategy), drive HR best practices in process, tools and templates
- Coordinate Due Diligence process for potential acquisitions
- Define and Manage the Strategy, Structure and Execution of the Integration within established HR standards
- Champion the cultural integration process
- Lead Change in the acquisition and minimize FUD (Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt) in the acquired organization
- Develop and lead HR non-negotiable items and transitional strategies for HR processes (in conjunction with HR specialty leaders ie. salary planning, bonuses etc.)
- Take ownership for the optimization and implementation of all HR processes while maintaining an effective work environment for the employees
- Coordinate the transition of Payroll and Benefits globally to GEV standards
- Educate the acquired HR team on GEV processes and procedures
- Set and monitor the pace of Integration to achieve goals and minimize business disruption
- Assist in the creation and execution of policies and procedures related to M&A practices.
- Support any M&A related compliance activity
Divestiture HR Leadership
- Take the lead on coordinating HR Divestiture Due Diligence activities
- Ensure HR Terms & Conditions are met in all Divestiture activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in positions of increasing scope in Human Resources
Desired Characteristics
- Experience with HR Mergers & Acquisitions or another HR specialty
- Experience as an HR partner for a global client group
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
