We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

As the Commercial Readiness Program Manager, you will be the architect and pilot of a new governance model designed to ensure every Everpure product is optimized for market success from inception to end-of-life. You will lead the Commercial Readiness Board (CRB), serving as the vital link between Product, Finance, IT, and Sales to guarantee that our innovations are commercially, operationally, and financially "launch-ready." Your mission is to eliminate friction in the quote-to-cash process, ensuring that when we hit "go," our systems, tax structures, and support models are perfectly aligned to capture revenue and delight customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Architect and Lead Governance: You will design and operationalize the end-to-end Commercial Readiness gate process, transforming early-stage product definitions into commercially complete offerings by enforcing rigorous entry/exit criteria across the product lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the Commercial Readiness Board: As the primary lead for the CRB, you will orchestrate cross-functional Go/No-Go decisions, ensuring that pricing, billing, revenue recognition, and tax requirements are fully validated before any global launch.
  • Standardize Operational Excellence: You will define "levels of commercial change" to streamline engagement models and partner with Business Systems Analysts to translate commercial needs into seamless technical requirements within our CPQ, ERP, and billing ecosystems.
  • Drive Data-Informed Decisions: You will establish and maintain a KPI dashboard to measure program impact—tracking speed-to-market, SKU defect rates, and revenue-at-risk—providing executive leadership with transparent insights into the health of our launch pipeline.
  • Champion Change Management: You will embed commercial readiness into the organizational DNA by developing playbooks, training modules, and templates that empower Product Managers and functional teams to design for transactability.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Strategic Program Leadership: You possess extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in B2B technology, specifically within commercial operations, product operations, or quote-to-cash environments.
  • Commercial Lifecycle Expertise: You have a deep understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and hands-on experience in at least two critical domains: product launches, CPQ configuration, subscription/revenue management, or ERP fulfillment.
  • Influential Facilitation Skills: You are a master at driving consensus and accountability among senior stakeholders in Finance, Tax, IT, and Product, with the ability to lead high-stakes Go/No-Go forums without direct authority.
  • Analytical Rigor: You are adept at using data to tell a story, with the ability to define KPIs, build dashboards, and translate complex technical or financial hurdles into actionable program milestones.
  • Effective Communication: You excel at simplifying complex commercial concepts into clear, professional artifacts and executive summaries that drive organizational alignment.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
