We take ownership, seek excellence, and play to win with the seriousness and camaraderie of an Olympic team. Onebrief operates as an all-remote company, though many of our employees work alongside our customers at military commands around the world.

Battle Road Digital, part of Onebrief, applies state-of-the-art innovations and experience from the video game industry to build the future of simulations, modeling, and operations with AtomEngine – our proprietary cloud-based game engine that’s making the world playable.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to coordinate the execution and delivery across multiple programs for our government customers. This role will coordinate internal project teams, customer stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery, alignment with mission objectives, and long-term program success.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing programs in the government space, strong customer-facing communication skills, and the ability to balance technical, contractual, and operational priorities.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex programs for government customers using AtomEngine, ensuring commitments are met on time and with high quality

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between Battle Road, government stakeholders, and external partners throughout the program lifecycle

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer goals, workflows, and success criteria, advocating for them in planning, execution, and delivery decisions

  • Translate customer needs into actionable delivery plans and product requirements, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and milestones

  • Own program execution by managing plans, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple concurrent efforts

  • Facilitate effective collaboration across engineering, product, customer success, and partner teams, maintaining alignment and momentum

  • Track, evaluate, and communicate program status, risks, and outcomes, leading regular reviews and ensuring transparency with all stakeholders

  • Travel frequently to customer sites and partner locations as required to support program delivery

What We Look For
  • 4+ years experience managing programs or projects for U.S. federal government or defense customers

  • Prior experience working with or alongside software engineering and technical teams, particularly on complex or platform-based products

  • Experience coordinating work across multiple organizations or partner teams, including subcontractors or external vendors

  • Comfort operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments, where documentation, traceability, and auditability matter

  • Background in simulation, modeling, geospatial systems, or game-engine–adjacent technologies

  • Due to federal contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
