What We Need 

We are looking for a Program Lead, Strategic Partnerships to join Element Fleet Management.   As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Program Lead, Strategic Partnerships, you will play a key role in supporting both the Armada & Element leadership team’s top priorities. You will actively engage with the client to build and strengthen the relationship through the day-to-day operations as well as understand and service their programmatic needs/changes. The Program Lead is responsible for providing account support to drive achievement of both client retention, and growth goals. The role will also provide updates on program direction internally across the organization.

A Day in the Life   

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships with key client stakeholders by proactively addressing client requests, ensuring consistent and timely follow-up, and delivering tailored training and education as needed.
  • Lead the intake, assessment, and prioritization of critical client initiatives and requests, ensuring their alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Utilize advanced organizational and communication skills to plan, facilitate, and drive impactful strategic discussions with client stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate leadership by taking full ownership of escalated issues, leveraging critical thinking and comprehensive root cause analysis to identify and implement sustainable, high-value solutions.
  • Spearhead the identification, design, and delivery of customized client reporting solutions to meet evolving client needs.
  • Continuously champion and implement process improvement and automation initiatives, reducing effort, cost, and inefficiencies for both the client and Element.
  • SLA Management: Oversee dashboard updates and ensure accuracy and relevance through regular collaboration with operational teams. Build cross-functional alignment through effective stakeholder management.
  • Quarterly Business Review Leadership: Take full ownership of document preparation, ensuring comprehensive, data-driven insights are provided to stakeholders.
  • Build a collaborative ecosystem across internal teams to drive operational excellence and ensure seamless execution of client-centric initiatives.

Strategic Account Planning

  • Partners with commercial & operational representatives in the development and implementation of account growth opportunities & strategies
  • Understands client business objectives and translates them into solutions to achieve successful outcomes for both the client and Element
  • Provides support to Management by identifying and scoping the requirements of client initiatives
  • Assists in managing and recommending client-specific time/cost savings solutions
  • Applies working knowledge of the both the client’s program & services agreement as well as their corporate objectives to support strategic recommendations
  • Takes ownership of written communication to provide insights/updates on critical strategic initiatives, new priorities/programs, and escalation resolution to both internal and external stakeholders

Internal Relationship Management

  • Builds relationships and works as an effective business partner with commercial team and operations leaders/SMEs. Influences business partners, fosters collaboration, and builds commitment to achieve shared goals.  Develops and maintains a network of internal resources across functions. Liaise with all relevant stakeholders across Element to coordinate and deliver on client commitments
  • Support/Lead, and document internal meetings to move forward key client priorities. Assists in maintaining client’s strategic engagement plan
  • Work with operational stakeholders to identify the root cause of common client service issues and partner with Operations to develop and implement long-term solutions
  • Originations Forecasting: Monthly reporting. Treasury/Finance support

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-7 years of experience owning the client relationships and leading client projects in a complex environment
  • History of success navigating in an ambiguous, fast-pace and ever-changing environment
  • Experience working in a cross functional setting
  • Displays client empathy and a strong ability to build relationships, handle escalations, and bring issues to resolution to the standards of the client
  • Successful history being able to collaborate with others to achieve a common goal as well as work well individually
  • Experience with Xcelerate, Service Cloud/Salesforce & Smartsheet
  • Strong familiarity with the Fleet Management industry

Knowledge & Competencies

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization, able to adapt and shift to different priorities
  • Ability to work independently and function within a team environment
  • Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving ability
  • Critical thinking – ability to think through logical process flows and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Acts with confidence and demonstrates ability to persuade/influence without authority.  Effectively explores alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain support and acceptance of all parties
  • MS Office – proficient in the following
  • Excel – ability to add data to cells, use functions, pivots, sort data
  • Word – ability to create & format documents
  • Experience with project management preferred
  • Proven track record of managing time and prioritizing multiple tasks

The hiring base salary range for this position is $98,200 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
