Role Overview: 

The Program Analyst will help maintain the operational governance layer of the PMO, ensuring org-wide compliance, documentation integrity, execution visibility, and delivery reliability, while allowing the Program Manager to focus on strategy, prioritization, and executive alignment. This role protects both revenue-impacting delivery and audit/compliance readiness.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to: Program Manager, PMO

• Works closely with:
  • IT Security Ops
  • Compliance / Standards stakeholders
  • DevOps
  • Product/Design
  • Software Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance & Standards Coordination Support
  • Maintain compliance platform and evidence repository
  • Track control owners and due dates
  • Prepare audit documentation and evidence collection
  • Support audit preparation logistics
  • Ensure documentation standards alignment across teams
  • Analyze enterprise compliance gaps and present mitigation solutions
• PMO Governance
  • Maintain documentation to support SDLC auditability
  • Maintain incident register and mitigation tracking
  • Maintain action-item tracking and follow-ups
  • Track milestone adherence and flag slippage early

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in program coordination, project coordination, or enterprise compliance.
• Strong organizational and documentation discipline.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departments
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Proficient in Jira or similar tools
• Proficient in analytical tools such as Excel or PowerBI, ability to use data to analyze trends and provide recommendations
• Process-minded with ability to enforce governance gently but consistently
• Interest in SaaS delivery, security, and governance

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ISO/SOC standards
• Experience with Agile project management principles
• Experience in technical project management
• Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, and IT concepts

Public Warning: Recruitment Phishing Scam Impersonating EKN Engineering

EKN Engineering has become aware of a phishing scheme targeting individuals with fraudulent interview requests and job offers. EKN’s secure IT systems and private applicant information have not been compromised; scammers are impersonating EKN employees, using the company name and branding to mislead and engage potential job seekers in fake recruitment processes. Scammers might reference real job openings or describe fake opportunities that generally match individuals’ professional backgrounds, with the goal of establishing communication and eventually obtaining private financial information to defraud people. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Federal Trade Commission warn that employment scams such as this are a growing cyber threat. EKN urges anyone who is contacted about employment opportunities to exercise caution and know that:

• All communication from EKN Engineering will be from an EKN employee using the @eknengineering.com email domain. We do not use third-party recruiters.
• EKN Engineering recruiters will only schedule interviews for candidates who have applied for a position through our secure portal.
• No corporate or IT systems at EKN are affected by this scam. The scammers are using EKN’s logo and employee names to impersonate the company.
