About this role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Professional Services Sales Consultant to join our team, supporting both large enterprise clients (25k+ employees) and commercial clients (1k+ employees). You’ll specialize in identifying, positioning, and closing strategic professional services engagements—including learning consulting, content curation, skills-gap analysis, tailored workforce training programs, and implementation services. Success in this role requires an ability to navigate complex client environments, build executive-level relationships, and deliver clear value propositions that align with strategic organizational goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Identify, qualify, and pursue professional services opportunities within existing and new large enterprise accounts.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Professional Services Delivery, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product, Deal Desk, Legal, and executives) to develop and deliver comprehensive proposals tailored to client objectives.
- Engage stakeholders at multiple levels, establishing trust-based, strategic relationships to deeply understand client business challenges and position Udemy's professional services solutions as essential to their long-term success.
- Create and execute strategic territory and account-specific plans to consistently meet and exceed professional services sales targets.
- Lead end-to-end negotiations, manage complex contracting processes, and secure agreements efficiently and accurately.
- Continuously gather market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback, sharing findings proactively with the broader team to enhance strategic positioning and value.
What you’ll have
- Minimum of 9+ years experience successfully selling complex professional services engagements, consulting solutions, or similar B2B enterprise-level services
- Demonstrated track record in managing sophisticated sales cycles and consistently exceeding professional services revenue targets
- Proven success in solution selling, crafting customized engagements, and securing 6-figure+ professional services contracts
- Strong business acumen and strategic territory management skills, ensuring sustainable client relationships and repeat business
