Summary
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Product Liability Attorney with at least 1+ years' experience to join its growing complex litigation group, may sit in any office in Southern California. The Product Liability Attorney will handle a complex caseload, up to and including trial. Ideal candidate will have strong plaintiff personal injury and product liability experience.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of state and federal cases from inception of identifying potential defect theory to trial of the matter
- Investigation, drafting and filing of litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
- Guiding clients through the case process
- Interacting with expert witnesses, including preparation of expert reports and affidavits
- Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Qualification
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the California State Bar Association
- Minimum 1+ years' of product liability experience, including trial, deposition, and motions experience in technical, complex cases, ideally on behalf of plaintiffs
- Exceptional research skills. Candidate should be capable of scouring the earth on Westlaw to find applicable caselaw
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills with a close attention to detail

Salary Range
$110,000—$140,000 USD
