Production Manager - Los Angeles, CA

About the Role

We’re looking for a Production Manager to own the end-to-end apparel production process—from tech pack handoff through warehouse delivery. This role is critical in ensuring product accuracy, timeline execution, and strong coordination with factory partners across both D2C drops and wholesale.

Marquee Brands

Anti Social Social Club is a global brand and art project established in 2014 in Los Angeles, California.

Marquee Brands owns and manages a portfolio of established global brands across consumer products and channels from luxury goods to sports and active apparel. Marquee’s team of professionals is focused on a commitment to drive organic growth through natural brand extensions, impactful marketing and direct consumer engagement. Our promise is to ensure our brands continue their storied success through relevant product, expanded retail distribution, and international growth all while continuing to be true to their founding message and origin.

Production & Vendor Management

  • Own the full production lifecycle from tech pack release to finished goods delivery across multiple concurrent drops and product releases
  • Issue and manage POs; act as the primary point of contact for factory partners
  • Ensure execution against approved specs, materials, trims, and packaging
  • Own consistency and accuracy of all product details from design through tech packs, sampling, bulk production, and final delivery to the end consumer
  • Manage both D2C and wholesale production
  • Proactively manage wholesale production to meet retailer ship windows and compliance requirements
  • Build and maintain scalable production processes with vendors
  • Define and enforce quality standards across all products, including materials, trims, labeling, and packaging; own QC from sampling through bulk
  • Resolve production and quality issues, driving corrective actions with factories
  • Own communication of production status, risks, and key updates to cross-functional stakeholders and external partners, including licensing partners and sales agents
  • Identify and escalate risks early, driving mitigation plans to protect product launches, wholesale commitments, and partner deliverables

Timeline & Delivery Management

  • Build and manage production calendars aligned to drop dates and wholesale deadlines
  • Actively manage factory deadlines and hold partners accountable to production schedules tied to launch dates
  • Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans to prevent delays that could impact product launches or retailer commitments
  • Ensure on-time delivery to warehouse in support of drop go-live dates and wholesale ship windows while maintaining quality standards
  • Coordinate with logistics partners on freight bookings, shipping timelines, and delivery scheduling
  • Ensure alignment between factory ex-factory dates and inbound warehouse plans
  • Monitor shipments in transit and proactively address delays or disruptions to protect delivery timelines

Inventory & Product Flow

  • Partner cross-functionally to manage inventory across multiple models, including made-to-order drops, in-season stock, and replenishment programs
  • Monitor production output against inventory needs and demand tied to drop performance and wholesale commitments
  • Ensure high accuracy in inventory planning and execution across a large number of SKUs
  • Adapt quickly to changes in inventory strategy, balancing limited drops, restocks, and ongoing replenishment with a focus on minimizing stockouts, excess inventory, and delivery delays

What Success Looks Like

  • On-time execution of all product drops and wholesale deliveries
  • Strong factory performance and clear communication
  • High accuracy across product data, inventory, and production
  • Ability to operate at speed without sacrificing quality

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
