About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-driven Production & Logistics Lead to own the end-to-end flow of wholesale inventory from the factory through final delivery.

This role sits at the center of our supply chain, acting as the key link between vendors, freight partners, warehouses, and wholesale accounts. You will ensure the product is produced, shipped, and delivered on time, and compliant while supporting scalable wholesale growth.

You will be responsible for PO production tracking, freight execution, and wholesale compliance, with a strong focus on on-time delivery, margin protection, and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & PO Lifecycle Management
  • Track WIP with factories and proactively identify risks to timelines or delivery

  • Partner with vendors to ensure on-time ex-factory readiness

  • Align production timelines with shipping windows and wholesale delivery requirements

Factory & Vendor Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors on production status, readiness, and compliance

  • Ensure all goods meet packaging, labeling, and retailer-specific requirements prior to shipment

  • Validate units, packing configurations, and carton requirements before dispatch

  • Onboard and manage vendors against compliance standards and routing guides

Freight & Transportation Management
  • Coordinate international and domestic freight (air + ocean)

  • Book, track, and manage shipments with freight forwarders

  • Provide forwarders with PO visibility, ex-factory dates, and shipping requirements

  • Optimize freight decisions based on urgency, cost, and margin impact

  • Ensure all shipping documentation is complete pre-arrival to avoid delays or penalties

Warehouse & Inbound Execution
  • Manage inbound flow into DC/3PL and align with warehouse capacity

  • Ensure timely receiving and accurate inventory intake into systems (NetSuite/WMS)

  • Coordinate inbound prioritization based on allocations and wholesale delivery timelines

Wholesale Compliance & Routing
  • Own compliance execution across all wholesale partners (Nordstrom, Amazon, ASOS, etc.)

  • Ensure adherence to routing guides, labeling, ticketing, and packing standards

  • Manage EDI/ASN documentation and shipment visibility

  • Monitor compliance performance and minimize chargebacks

Outbound Fulfillment (Wholesale Orders)
  • Coordinate pick, pack, and shipment of wholesale orders

  • Ensure deliveries meet required ship windows and routing instructions

  • Reconcile deliveries (ordered vs shipped vs invoiced) and resolve discrepancies

Documentation & Systems
  • Maintain commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documentation

  • Ensure accurate updates across ERP (NetSuite), EDI platforms, and tracking systems

  • Support bulk uploads and process automation where applicable

Risk Management & Problem Solving
  • Identify risks across production, freight, and compliance early

  • Resolve shipment delays, shortages, customs issues, and discrepancies

  • Balance cost vs revenue impact when making operational decisions

  • Escalate risks proactively with clear solutions

Process Improvement & Operational Scaling
  • Identify and implement process improvements across production, logistics, and compliance

  • Support supply chain initiatives to improve speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency

  • Contribute to building scalable systems and workflows for wholesale growth

Qualifications
  • 3–6+ years in apparel production, logistics, or wholesale operations

  • Strong understanding of vendor compliance, routing guides, and retail requirements

  • Experience with freight (air/ocean), incoterms (FOB, DDP), and global supply chain flows

  • Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, shipments, and timelines simultaneously

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
