At Relativity Space, we have two audacious goals: to build the next great commercial launch company with Terran R and to become America's leading force in additive manufacturing innovation. Both contribute to our long-term vision of creating humanity’s industrial base on Mars, paving the way for interplanetary life to expand the possibilities of the human experience. This journey begins right here on Earth – where we design, build, and fly rockets to deliver customer payloads to orbit. Terran R, our medium-to-heavy lift reusable rocket, fulfills the growing demand for launch capacity, thanks to our iterative approach that accelerates design, testing, and development while minimizing costs. While our groundbreaking research and development in 3D printing pushes the boundaries of large-scale additive manufacturing.

Your journey with us is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to shape the future of aerospace technology, additive manufacturing, and the human experience alongside a community of passionate, creative individuals. Join us on this extraordinary journey, as we work together to transform our vision into reality.

About the Team:

Supply Chain at Relativity encompasses direct supply management for all Terran-R parts and materials and materials management. Put simply, we own the value chain from identification of a need to delivery to our internal customer. The Supply Chain team’s vision is to build a best-in-class, responsive, and data-driven supply chain management organization that is a key competitive advantage for Relativity. Supply Chain is currently putting that vision into practice through sourcing long-lead parts, production equipment, and infrastructure projects for Terran R production. We have had numerous accomplishments with high-dollar, impactful projects by collaborating closely with finance, manufacturing, and engineering to deliver excellent value and keep our aggressive Terran R schedule on track.

About the Role:

  • Resolve high-impact production issues using advanced technical knowledge and diagnostic skills, proposing and implementing solutions independently
  • Bridge cross-functional gaps across Supply Chain, Engineering, Production and EAS to unblock constraints and ensure alignment with scheduled deliverables
  • Drive ERP/MES process improvements, using expert-level knowledge to streamline workflows and address inefficiencies
  • Own and lead technical initiatives from end-to-end, delivering scalable solutions that improve material flow, build readiness, and floor operations
  • Mentor and guide teammates, sharing technical expertise and promoting a collaborative, high-performing team culture
  • Maintain deep knowledge of material data (e.g., BOMs, alternates, lead times, attrition, spares) to ensure accurate planning, kitting, and build/test execution.

About You:

  • 8+ years of experience in production coordination or a similar technical role, with strong exposure to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering collaboration.
  • Expertise with ERP/MES/WMS systems, including diagnosing and solving technical issues and leading related process improvements.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects, develop new standards, and drive cross-functional initiatives independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective across platforms and with diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment, capable of making independent decisions in a dynamic production environment.
  • Flexible and dependable, able to work varied hours, lift up to 35 lbs., and adapt to evolving production needs.

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Experience in Aerospace
  • Advanced understanding of ERP/MES/WMS systems and interdependencies between the three.
  • Familiarity with forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
