We seek a Senior Technical Product Manager working in our title onboarding and live operations team. The TPM role at Mythical Games is an opportunity for a highly technical and detail-oriented Product Manager to take their career to the next level by joining the most exciting company at the intersection of Gaming, E-commerce, and Blockchain. 

As a contributor to Mythical's Platform Product team, you will be responsible for serving the publisher or studio’s needs while integrating with the Mythical Platform from greenlight to Live Operations or maintenance.  In addition, you’ll be the studio’s primary point of contact for all platform product needs and concerns. This role will serve as the primary cross-functional liaison between producers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders within Mythical.

During the game design process, you will also be an evangelist for mythical platform capabilities and assess new capability requests as investments in the overall platform. In addition, you will participate in feature design and development planning and execution in partnership with the Technical Development Director. 

The ideal candidate will have prior Technical Product Management with video game or entertainment platforms, content publishing, and e-commerce. As a result, you can prioritize trade-offs independently and work seamlessly with your colleagues. In addition, you are passionate about games, willing to challenge the status quo and find inventive solutions while delivering with both quality and urgency.


Scope of Responsibilities

  • Lead product discovery efforts to pull out and describe experiences and features to support the title. 
  • Regularly conduct the studio / Mythical Platform engagement process retrospectives to drive operational improvements.
  • Evangelize platform capabilities and inspire art-of-the-possible conversations to identify new valuable capabilities.
  • Ongoing triage of platform feature ideas and collaboration with Producers, Game Designers to clearly describe and clarify their needs and desired timeframes.
  • Reviews feature specs to ensure that risk has been assessed, reviewed compliance and the problem statement created by the feature request is clear.
  • Determine if the feature is a title-specific, generalized platform or enhancement to an existing capability partnered with the platform product managers in our group.
  • Provide prioritization of feature delivery within a given title in an ‘up-to-the minute’ way, aligned with a kanban delivery approach.
  • Maintain a detailed awareness of player satisfaction through community management and customer service with a specific focus on experiences provided by the Mythical Platform using qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Systems Development Lifecycle, a strong understanding of the process through which systems and front-end software are built.  This understanding can include previous experience creating high-level architecture diagrams that include many systems.
  • Back-end Service design / API skill/ understanding
  • Customer-facing tools experience
