The Role:
Medely’s vision to transform how healthcare works are only realized if professionals can seamlessly connect with facilities to discover and book meaningful work through our on-demand marketplace. You will be responsible for the product vision and strategic decisions impacting multiple lines of business and require a deep understanding of each team's requirements and business priorities.
As the Senior Product Manager responsible for this charter, you will be challenged to execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap to guide and engage nurses and other medical professionals on the Medely platform. You will focus on making the core professional experience extensible, impactful, delightful, and flexible - allowing professionals a multitude of opportunities to work how and when they want. You will be responsible for clearly communicating community behavior expectations and developing programs to reinforce and encourage high-quality professional work through loyalty and referral programs, superior UX, and a native app. You will operate as a key decision-maker across both business and tech and will work with a broad set of cross-functional partners across clinical operations, design, engineering, customer success, and data science to develop features and metrics in the areas of engagement, retention, quality, and more.

The Impact You'll Make:
Own the product roadmap, definition, and execution for Medely Healthcare Professionals, balancing customer needs, technical debt, and stakeholder requests
Own and lead the end-to-end product development process of major features and iterations, including creating high-quality PRDs, and working closely with engineering, design, etc. to bring world-class products to market
Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into the product development process
Own your numbers, drive your cross-functional team of engineers, designers, etc. to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals -- and overachieve them
Be actively involved in defining the strategy for your area. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair our ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
Innovate - find new ways of simplifying the user experience with new technologies
Distill vision and strategy for the team, and rally all cross-functional team members.
Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results to stakeholders
Who You Are:
5+ years of PM or similar experience developing successful and innovative B2C or B2B products and managing complex software projects through multiple iterations. Experience with a marketplace business is a plus
Strong customer compassion and the ability to blend user research with data & business needs to build a prioritized product roadmap
Data-driven. You always get the data you need, and you can distill it into an insightful story. Most importantly, you use data to drive strategic decisions
Technical skills. Don’t have to have a Computer Science degree, but the ability to inform and evaluate engineering decisions
Demonstrated urgency. The ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment where continuous innovation is desired
Ownership. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager/owner mentality
The ability to zoom out and think strategically, and zoom in to execute methodically.
Superior verbal and written communication skills
The estimated compensation for this role is $145,000 to $178,000.
