Our patented 2-Piece Rug System has a removable top layer that can be washed in a home washing machine, offering a stylish and convenient solution for families, pet owners, and busy individuals. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing e-commerce startup.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will oversee the design, development, launch and iteration of Ruggable’s operations tech applications. The Senior Product Manager will be a foundational member of the Operations team and serve as a key player in Ruggable’s growth. The Senior Product Manager will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, with a dotted line to the Head of Ops Engineering. The Senior Product Manager position will be based in our headquarters in Los Angeles, CA but may occasionally work from our fulfillment center in Chicago, IL. 

What You’ll Do:

• Play an integral role in defining the technology strategy for Ruggable’s operations tech applications
• Oversee planning, execution, testing, and overall success of technical projects related to international launch
• Work closely with the Ops Engineering team to launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

• Technical Background (Bachelor’s Degree: computer science, or mechanical/industrial engineering, business or related field)
• 5+ years of product management experience at a consumer tech company
• Background in managing and leveraging a wide variety of third party systems (Shopify, Optimizely, Heap, Google Analytics etc.)
• Product Owner Certification is a plus
• Feel comfortable using SQL to quickly analyze different datasets to drive key KPIs
   

Collaboration:

• Define and drive the operations technology vision and roadmap for Ruggable’s operations technology team
• Comfortable storytelling the “Why” of a feature and/or epic to developers
   

Execution:

• Experience writing stories, specifications and partnering closely with technology teams, running backlog groomings and prioritizing sprints
• Ability to define clear success criteria for testing and lead UAT and Beta launches with key users
• Experience understanding and analyzing data pipelines, algorithms, apis and automated systems
   

Leadership:

• Exceptional communication skills, with ability to collaborate with engineers, designers and functional stakeholders; proven ability to provide the voice of the customer
• Strong critical thinking skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving
• Self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
• Comfortable looking beyond the backlog to create new opportunities
