The Role
The Ecosystem team is looking for a dynamic and passionate Senior Product Manager to lead our next level of growth at SimplePractice. This PM will be focused on building the infrastructure that will delight other Product teams, accelerating our ability to scale as a company.
The Ecosystem team helps support the rest of our Experience Product teams and works cross-functionally with the Marketing, Customer Success, ISC (Infrastructure, Security, and Compliance) and Data teams to ensure alignment and provide them with empowering services to support them. This team builds products for both internal and external customers and is obsessed with delivering the best possible user experience at every level.
Responsibilities
- Help shape the multi-year vision and define our API and platform strategy
- Evaluate and support partnerships and integrations with application developers and solution partners
- Lead the efforts on converting existing product offerings into platform offerings that can be consumed by internal teams
- Guide the creation of platform capabilities that are delightful and scalable
- Define a set of KPIs to measure business and operational impact, and be able to analyze them and utilize them in decision making processes
- Work autonomously and be able to take ownership of product prioritization decisions
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to take products ideas from concept to launch
- Translate a larger strategic vision into a concrete, prioritized plan that can be executed on to deliver an MVP and iterative improvements

Desired Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience building and launching platform offerings, including APIs and/or microservices, for internal and external consumption
- Comfort with ambiguity and breaking down complex technical challenges which impact multiple product teams
- Proven experience writing great documentation for a technical audience
- Capable of synthesizing unstructured data and inputs to inform prioritization decisions
- Experience conducting interviews with customers to uncover product opportunities
- Drive to understand underlying problems, test assumptions and iterate on solutions
- Clear, concise and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively simplify and communicate them to a non-technical audience
- Takes initiative to drive projects forward within a fast-paced environment
- Experience with any of the following is a plus: products that manage referrals, products that manage coordination and/or communication between multiple parties, group chat products
