Zwift HQ is located in sunny Long Beach, CA with offices in NYC, London, and Rio de Janeiro.

Who we are seeking:

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Director - Connected Products. This newly created position  is about championing the role and value of Zwift hardware in the Zwift customer journey, to simplify the purchasing experience, ultimately drive more subscriptions, and improve the experience for current Zwifters. To this end it will own hardware specific marketing and play a critical role in integrating our hardware + software messaging. 

Reporting directly to the VP of Brand & Communications, this person will collaborate day to day with the Connected Products team, work closely with the Product team and the Strategy team, lead all our hardware marketing activities and play a central role in achieving our sales goals. This is a highly transversal role that is crucial to Zwift’s future success.

What you'll do:

  • Partner day to day with the Connected Products team to design, bring to market and sell Zwift connect Products portfolio.
  • Define Product & Value Proposition for Prospects (new acquisition) & Customers (upgrades).
  • Lead the development and implementation of our hardware go to market strategy.
  • Lead Zwift Connected Products creative campaign development and execution from briefing to delivery on all paid and owned touch points including advertising, social, website, email, PR, influencers and sponsored athletes.
  • Partner with the Software Marketing team to design and deliver an integrated Hardware + Software messaging into the market.
  • Work with internals Sports Marketing functions to define rights for marketing and activations across pro & wider influencer spaces.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to conduct customers research and bring market insights into the development of new hardware products and confirm products to market fit.
  • Partner with Product, Acquisition and Strategy teams to forecast product demand across countries and channels.
  • Review competitive offerings, helping our teams stay up to speed on the latest industry trends.
  • Develop and lead the Connected Products Marketing team.
  • Define, own and track the Connected Products Marketing budget.

What you'll have: 

  • 15+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years working in product marketing, or growth marketing, and a track record of developing successful strategic year-long marketing plans and channel specific tactics.
  • Dynamic leader who is confident and passionate.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to execute plans.
  • Previous background in B2C marketing preferred, with experience in consumer technologies.
  • Strong quantitative analytical ability and familiarity with marketing analytics.
  • Experience communicating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Genuine interest in and curiosity in cycling as a sport and as an industry. Previous experience in the sports industry is a plus, being a cyclist is a major plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Marketing.
