FabFitFun is looking for a Senior Director to join the Sourcing and Product Development team at our West Hollywood HQ. Reporting to the VP, the ideal candidate will lead a world class team of Sourcing, Production, Packaging and Product Development professionals in ever changing global environment while supporting extensive scaling of subscription box and e-commerce business.

What you'll do:

• Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Legal, Logistics, and our Shanghai office to secure competitive goods that meet our quality and product requirements, as well as all safety and regulatory requirements in the global markets we sell into.
• Leverage experience and knowledge base to create process and tools to enable scalability across all disciplines.
• Manage team overseeing the selection process for all subscription box assets, product packaging, and sustainability efforts.
• Perform an overall review and assessment of the Supply Chain organization, create and set the vision for the future of supply chain across the organization.
• Develops Global Sourcing strategy to source and develop new factories/suppliers globally to maintain competitive advantage as market conditions change and as company’s product development strategy broadens.
• Identify and implement business management platforms to enable scalability in Sourcing while meeting the needs of finance, legal, merchandise, and product.
• Establish and drive execution of strategic business plans, objectives, and internal processes that align with the broader business.
• Be the department lead in all new collaboration and new business opportunity meetings with Merchandising to guide on supply chain implications and create a plan on how it fits within current organization structure after pilot.
• Implement and manage a process around box, e-commerce, collaborations, chase, and replenishment programs, inclusive of cross-functional timelines and raw material management.
• Regularly assess our current production partners based on established sourcing KPIs, identify gaps in the supplier base, and work strategically to put us in a better position with suppliers.
• Analyze and report out on cost saving initiatives, country of origin diversification, new market exploration and commodity costing and its impact on future business.
• Facilitate and lead the flow of information to the company though its management and executive teams regarding all supply chain and related matters.
• Support exploration and tests of new suppliers and technologies within the corrugated packaging industry to ensure FabFitFun is using the best machinery and printing techniques and ensure they are scalable.
• Understand manufacturing techniques to qualify vendors to manufacture hard and soft goods at scale.
• Be the in-house expert on manufacturing techniques and provides alternate production and material options to mitigate costs and production risks.
• Capture and report hard and soft cost savings to the organization.
• Analyze economic indicators and impact on the future cost of goods in key commodity in common lines of business.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
• 12+ years of experience in sourcing, product development, purchasing or supply chain management with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development
• Strong people leader and experience with managing a large team
• Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural environment
• Experience creating strategic plans and executing them
• Demonstrated ability to develop impactful, collaborative relationships with team members, senior/executive leaders, and partner functions including Merchandise, Finance, and Legal
• Able to travel internationally
