Job Summary:
The Product Strategy & Insights Associate will work on high-priority initiatives to inform the future of product at Ruggable. This individual will be responsible analyzing disparate data sources to generate insights that drive meaningful improvements across products and teams. They will also be tasked with developing a customer insights program that gathers input from consumers and synthesizes the qualitative and quantitative data collected into strategic recommendations. We are looking for a highly quantitative, detail-oriented self-starter who has a passion for working in a fast-paced environment with structured and unstructured datasets and is adaptable to change.
What You’ll Do:
- Independently own end-to-end delivery of actionable insights including scoping, data collection, data analysis, and presentation to senior leadership
- Build a customer insights program to answer key questions around how customers use our current product offering and assess demand for new product lines
- Manage end-to-end programming, execution, and analysis of customer surveys
- Identify and communicate the highest priority new products/features based on market research, customer feedback, and product performance data
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of our analytics capabilities (e.g. helping understand new sources of useful data or recommending new tools/platforms)
- Inspire other members of the Product team with an analytical approach to questions
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working in an analytics role within an organization (ideally a high-growth startup) or on data-heavy projects in management consulting or investment banking
- Proven track record of translating raw data into actionable insight, presenting to business stakeholders, and driving value for a business amidst a high degree of ambiguity
- Experience developing customer surveys and synthesizing both quantitative and qualitative output
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience writing original SQL queries to extract and manipulate data (Familiarity with Redshift a plus)
- Excellent business acumen and ability to focus on “what matters”
- Excellent written and verbal communication with impeccable attention to detail
- Experience with CPG/Retail
- Knowledge of programming languages for data analysis (R, Python, etc.)
- Experience using business intelligence software (e.g. Looker, Tableau, etc.)
