Enervee's Product Research Manager will play an integral part in gathering insights about the needs, attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design. By collaborating closely with product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders, you’ll help us create stellar product experiences that delight our utility partners and their customers.

As a Product Research Manager, you’ll help our business understand user needs. You’ll play a critical role in creating and refining products throughout the product development lifecycle. You’ll explore user behaviors and motivations by conducting research such as field studies, interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B + multivariate testing. You’ll assist in ongoing efforts to optimize conversion metrics and inform our feature roadmap through research findings and analysis.

How you will make an impact

• Design and execute independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences
• Dive into existing metrics and internal knowledge bases to design research questions and experiments
• Collect and analyze user behavior through field studies, interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B + multivariate testing
• Translate insights into measurable customer experience outcomes aligned to business goals
• Work with designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to prioritize research opportunities and implement findings
• Conduct competitive analysis and research industry best practices as supporting material
• Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations
• Create user personas and affinity diagrams to synthesize findings into actionable design

What you bring to the team

• 2-4 years in a Product / UX research position
• Self-starter who can run with ambiguity in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Experience with continuously improving metrics
• Experience in designing and conducting usability studies
• Knowledge of the latest UI/UX/Product standards, accessibility, research trends, design best practices, and technologies
• Familiarity with web analytics to help guide research questions
