Powered by its always-on location SDK, micro-location BLE beacons, and a complete mobile advertising stack, Gimbal’s suite of tools generates hyper-accurate location data that allows brands to target consumers more effectively and attribute their spend via actions in the physical world.

Gimbal is the most comprehensive location-based software and hardware provider in the country, led by a team of experienced serial entrepreneurs and media industry veterans. We’re headquartered in Los Angeles with satellite offices in New York City, San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago, and Columbus.

About the Job.

As a Product Operations Intern with Gimbal, you’ll partner closely with our Technical Project Manager to complete designated Product initiatives, with the goal of providing a better platform experience for our employees. You’ll work within an agile team framework, gaining experience with typical SaaS platforms used at technology companies and exposure to the inner workings of Product and Engineering at a profitable startup.

This is a paid, full-time program which will be fully remote. All interviews will be conducted remotely via phone or Zoom.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and launching our new company wiki, including updating internal-facing content and creating a more user-friendly site map
  • Communicating with team leads to obtain department-specific onboarding information and implementing within wiki accordingly
  • Migrating documentation from old platforms (Google Sites) to our new platform (Confluence)
  • Conducting product research to influence overall Product direction by identifying market opportunities and gaining meaningful customer insights
  • Building and launching processes for streamlined knowledge accessibility/delivery across the organization

Who you are:

  • A design-oriented thinker — you may not be a designer yourself, but you prioritize the UX/UI in every project you take on
  • A proactive problem solver — you are constantly looking for ways to work smarter, delivering new efficiencies anywhere an improvement can be made
  • An outgoing communicator — you know how to get your point across clearly and effectively (and also how to land a great joke)
  • A structured planner — your organization skills would make Marie Kondo jealous

What you have:

  • Current junior or senior enrolled in an accredited college/university program, pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s in a relevant field of study (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Business)
  • Ability to commit to a full-time (40 hrs/week) schedule over a 10-12 week period
  • Background in content creation/management, whether professional or personal
  • Prior internship experience in the startup and/or technology space preferred
  • Experience with Confluence and/or Jira a huge plus

Benefits & Perks.

It’s no secret that we work hard, but we also strive to create an office environment where the lines between work and play are blurred. This means we offer these great perks to help keep our team healthy, productive, and happy.

  • 100% company-paid health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents, as well as life insurance and disability coverage
  • Unlimited paid time off - we trust your discretion
  • Opportunities for profit sharing, bonuses, and ownership
  • 401(k) plan plus company match
  • Cell phone reimbursement and subsidized gym membership
  • Annual professional development stipend
  • Fully stocked kitchen - snacks, drinks, and catered lunch on Wednesdays
  • Dog-friendly office
