Product Manager

Our technology platform, Dugout, and leading consumer guides engage with in-market consumers to help them purchase the right product or service, including internet connections, TV plans, phone, and security, for their home and business.
The Consumer Guides team at Centerfield Media is looking for a Product Manager to join our growing organization. The Consumer Guides team at Centerfield builds web sites that consumers love, such as BroadbandNow.com, where anyone can find and compare local internet service providers.
The Product Manager should be passionate about creating web sites that consumers love. All of Centerfield’s consumer guides have a research component and a buying experience – and each are equally important. Consumers need our help to make an important purchase decision, and we want that experience to be great. Our consumer guides require a deep understanding of data, content and user experience. And the ideal candidate will have proven experience solving problems in each of these areas.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Proactively develop product strategy and vision
- Define and develop detailed business requirements and user stories
- Manage prioritization and tradeoffs between different roadmap initiatives
- Develop and manage product KPIs
- Work closely with all groups within the company to get buyin and feedback on products that are being developed and launched
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
Qualifications
- 2+ years of total product management experience directly related to building and managing inhouse built technology in an Agile environment.
- Proven success in delivering online products and services in a high growth environment in geo distributed organizations
- Handson knowledge and in depth understanding of Agile product development methodologies like Scrum, Kanban etc.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Experience and ability to learn and understand technical concepts
- Solid understanding and experience driving requirements for API products and API integrations
- Familiarity with API services and backend infrastructure
