POSITION OVERVIEW
Outer is hiring a Product Manager, Acquisition to join our Product Team. The Product Team is responsible for conceptualizing, prioritizing, designing, developing, and iterating upon digital products that delight our customers, propel our growth, and support our business operations. This role will report to our VP of Product.
As the Product Manager overseeing new customer acquisition, you will work closely with our core Growth Team to create and execute a roadmap that will drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth. You’ll thrive in our fast-paced environment and leverage your ability to create clarity from ambiguity, acting thoughtfully yet swiftly as the business evolves. You will lead through your unique blend of creativity, analytical skills, and subject matter expertise to champion strategies, features, and campaigns that will accelerate our growth.
Given the stage of Outer and the ever-evolving business strategy and needs of the company, this role will change over time. New and exciting opportunities arise every day and we are looking for candidates who will embrace and be motivated by that flexibility.
WHAT YOU'll BE DOING
- Develop and execute a new customer growth strategy and roadmap in partnership with cross-functional growth strategists, channel managers, and lifecycle marketing
- Become the in-house subject matter expert on new customer acquisition and lead with your broad understanding of online marketing (paid and organic)
- Own the definition, tracking, and reporting of growth KPIs for on-site and off-site optimization
- Create funnels and landing pages as we continue to expand into new marketing channels
- Drive new feature experimentation development to impact on-site KPIs
- Conduct deep quantitative and qualitative analyses to understand the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ behind experiment performance and customer behavior
- Work at all levels in the business to move the company forward

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management roles working with high-growth products and teams
- Success in leading cross-functional strategies that meaningfully impacted significant growth targets
- Deep experience conceptualizing, prioritizing, producing, deploying, and analyzing A/B tests
- Proven track-record of impact generating end to end feature development, working with engineering and design to launch and iterate upon new features
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with modern data analytics tools and query languages (Looker, Segment, SQL, etc.)
- Competency with modern growth tools (Optimizely, Klaviyo, Outgrow, Webflow, Unbounce, Hero, etc.)
- Understanding of SEO and organic traffic acquisition
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful and create influence throughout an organization
- Growth mindset and constant hunger to improve
