Product Integrity Manager
FabFitFun is a fast-growing and innovative lifestyle subscription brand serving over 1M annual members! We are seeking an experienced Product Integrity Manager to join our growing Sourcing & Quality organization and own the regulatory function for multiple company verticals including beauty, fashion, home and more!
This newly created role is responsible for ensuring a vast assortment of products meet all regulatory and industry standards for global distribution. The Product Integrity Manager will leverage their industry experience, knowledge and network to educate the FabFitFun team and vendors on regulations, while enforcing compliance to applicable testing and labeling requirements.
Our ideal candidate will have hands on experience working in a consumer products regulatory environment with product types including cosmetics, drinkware, candles, and apparel as well as possess a strong understanding of Global regulations (Canada, Europe).
What you’ll do:
- Be the expert on regulatory requirements for the FabFitFun product line-up that includes table top, jewelry, apparel, cosmetics, electronics and a variety of fitness tools
- Define, develop, implement and manage a mandatory testing program and hold suppliers accountable for delivery of compliant product
- Create testing protocols and enforce adherence on all applicable products
- Review Product packaging for language content/safety and regulatory issues
- Conduct ingredient label and documentation review on cosmetics and work with suppliers to ensure all regulatory documentation is maintained
- Manage relationship and performance of 3rd party testing providers
- Track testing of assigned products, assuring that no negative schedule or cost impact is created by test delays attributable to QC department or partner laboratories
- Drive testing failure resolution
- Support new market expansion by researching global regulations and educate the FabFitfun team on the requirements and cost impact of ongoing compliance
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
- Notify team and vendors of upcoming significant regulatory changes or product protocol revisions
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Quality Control with a focus on regulatory affairs
- High level of accountability and technical experience in a testing or manufacturing environment
- Thorough understanding of consumer product standards for United States, Canada, and Europe
- Strong knowledge of product specific construction standards, materials, and manufacturing processes/techniques
- Critical thinker with ability to create strategic plans and execute them
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Quality, or Supply Chain
- Bi-lingual (Chinese is a plus)
