Regulatory Manager
We’re Hiring! FabFitFun is searching for a Regulatory / Product Integrity Manager to join our Sourcing team at our HQ in Los Angeles, CA.
This position will manage the day to day workflow and functions of the Product Integrity team, ensure all products are being tested, work with cross functionals to build a strong communication flow, and provide a streamlined resource for internal and external communication regarding timelines, open items, issues, and answering product integrity related questions.
This candidate must have a high-mid level of understanding around Product Integrity, safety, with a major plus to understand and adapt to varying business enabling initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Understand consumer product laws and communicate regulatory requirements for the FabFitFun product categories including; jewelry, cosmetics, apparel, tabletop, electronics and a variety of fitness tools
- Create work instructions for product categories to ensure correct regulatory documents are received and provide continuous improvement of processes and monitor suppliers’ qualifications, timeliness, and their cooperation with the FabFitFun operation procedures
- Review and maintain the regulatory process for Ecommerce, add-on, edit, shop and dropship sales for products going to US, Canada, EU and UK
- Work to ensure all regulatory documentation is submitted on a timely basis with no cost impact or delays
- Support the Product Integrity team on new market expansion and global regulations and provide updates to the FabFitFun teams
- Collaborate with the QC and Sourcing teams for process alignment within Operations
- Review and confirm final product labeling and artwork for language, content, safety and regulatory requirements provided by suppliers
- Foster effective relationship of trust and credibility with internal FabFitFun teams and provide decisions on a timely basis to move product forward
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Quality, or Supply Chain
- Minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience
- The ability to regularly travel to our HQ in West Hollywood, CA and Fulfillment Center in Chino, CA
- Understanding of consumer product and packaging requirements for United States, Canada and Europe.
- Experience with quality control, assurance, compliance and manufacturing
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Mastery of multitasking and strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Excel, Google Docs, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Critical thinker with ability to create process improvement and work instructions and maintain them
