Research and Insights Manager

We're looking for an engaging analytical content writer to become our Product Insights Manager and join our Product Marketing team. In this role, you will author content based on your analysis of data primarily derived from the DISQO opinion and behavior audience. Your contributions will be instrumental in hitting ambitious goals for awareness of DISQO’s capabilities and adoption of our products. A diverse group of stakeholders will rely on your content, including advertisers, agencies, media companies, market researchers, academics, and the press.
Within the Marketing team at DISQO, Product Marketing represents the voice of the customer both internally and externally and leads collaboratively across functions to tie together Product, Data Science, Marketing, and Sales. Product Marketing is responsible for driving comprehensive go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging across all markets, industries, customer segments, and sales channels. You will support the Product Marketing function by conceiving research, executing data analysis, and writing whitepapers, research reports, blogs from the findings.
Responsibilities:
- Design research projects utilizing the breadth and depth of the DISQO audience data, including clickstream data requests and survey writing
- Analyze raw data from DISQO audience to find unexpected insights that illuminate the unknown or challenge the status quo
- Write thought leadership content such as whitepapers, research reports and blogs supporting the growth of our products
- Demonstrate and communicate knowledge of the industry, target market, and customer journey
- Collaborate closely within the Marketing team to intimately understand the vision and business objectives for our campaigns
- Partner with Product Management, Data Science and Sales teams to align efforts and effectively position and message our insights
- Contribute to a repository for industry research and customer insights
- Collaborate with Demand Generation to track and report quantifiable results on an ongoing basis
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of data-driven long-form content creation in the B2B market
- Excellent analytical skills utilizing large (such as clickstream) and small (such as survey responses) datasets to find the ah-ha stories in the data
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts such as r-values, n-values, significance, outlier detection, and expertise with advanced excel functions
- Prolific author of highly-engaging content such as whitepapers, research reports, blogs, and conference presentations with a portfolio of successful pieces
- Excels at working cross-functionally, aligning multiple stakeholders
- Strategic thinker who can reduce broad strategies into well-defined messages
- Ability to understand and connect technical details to meaningful customer value
- Applicants must reside in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in or deep knowledge of the marketing and market research industries
